In Friday’s episode of HGTV’s My Yard Goes Disney you met the Trautwein family – John and Ileana, and their three children, Robert (8), Victoria (6), and Thomas (2).

The My Yard Goes Disney crew was inspired by the family’s dedication to science and gardening, so they transformed the Trautwien’s backyard with a geodesic greenhouse reminiscent of SpaceShip Earth houses hydroponic plants just like those at Disney’s The Land. For fun, they included a Mickey-Mouse shaped splash fountain, a butterfly garden and HGTV even built the Trautwein’s their own glider so they can go “Soarin” over their new backyard.
